Mammoth is a fun name and it's an actual word that people know, so why not Mac OS Mammoth? I would be so mad if they called it Menducino because I just don't like that. The fact that it has an S on the end just did not work. So the company that chose Mavericks may choose literally anything because Mavericks just sounded bad. And it doesn't work for me, but they were with Mavericks. Oh, there you go. There's still a bunch of good names here. The OS North Antons here. Adam, mate, this is Mac OS, Islington.
