US Military Intervention in Haiti
Kurdish militia wants stronger assurances that Washington will prevent a ground offensive against its forces in northern Syria. US officials are pushing for an international military intervention in Haiti over concerns of a migration of a migrant crisis. While Haitians are facing a lot of violence and food shortages they don't want it to involve US troops due to the country's dark history with foreign military occupations.
