I Think the Auto Geratricians Are a Great Resource for This Type of Retrospective Work
The study was published in the Journal of Geriatric Surgery. It looked at mortality and post-injury complications among frail patients. The authors conclude that there is a biased population due to auto geratricians' involvement with more complex cases. But they also say it could be as a result of allied health professionals working alongside the ortho geratrician, which would support their findings.
