The Risks of Fortress Conservation Models

I think the attractiveness of the city for that wildlife is probably what makes it dangerous. So if we didn't attract the praise into the city in the first place, then the risk would be lower. And I think to be honest, you're always going to have those sort of risks unless you go for a full fortress conservation model. Sounds like Jurassic Park. Yeah. It's a bit of Jurassic Park. But it's just this idea that humans can't, like humans and biodiversity can't coexist. That has been happening in Africa where Masai tribesmen who have lived there for generations are being removed by conservationists because they're deemed to be a threat to biodiversity.
