The Night Of is a crime show, but it's not like the who done it kind of crime show. It's about this clean cut, really shy kid who then accidentally through a series of very unlikely events ends up at a crime scene one night. So you have so lost the plot of your own story. You don't know who you are or what you've done and not done. And that is how I feel when I read the words of this blind man's parents to the priests who are conducting the investigation. His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders who had already decided that anyone who acknowledged Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue.
