How to Provide Empathy and Provide Zellis Representation for Someone Who's Accused of a Crime That Reflects Police Violence or Racism

How do you walk that tightrope of providing this person excellent representation without well, while dealing with the broader political context and what they're accused of? I'll pick on Ms. Marin because she just provided the last answer first. To me, it's not the beauty of Ellis representation is you have to do your absolute best to represent each client. It's a rare fact pattern where you would be going into court and saying about a hate crime that was explicitly racist and trying to argue that it wasn't really that racist. You're not justifying your client's bad conduct in almost any situation.
