What Makes Games a Game?
Games are a powerful conceptual tool. Because it's a game people feel free to be wild in their thinking, to be creative, to try different things, experiment. And that's important too, if we're trying to to urprise ourselves with ideas that we would otherwise not be able to predict. That kind of surprise emergence helps us understand the future better. It does push you into this really interesting kind of story telling mode where youare like, how do i create a narrative in which it makes sense that we are wearing shoes in our beds or t, you know, whatever, whatever.
