How to Sell or Donate Clothes or Accessories

I'm curious about what your advice is if someone is feeling difficulty about parting with certain pieces. Do you have any best practices when it comes to selling or donating? I sell some stuff on the real real also just local consignment stores. I feel like usually give a very good percentage and sometimes that's sort of fun to like bring something to the consignment store. Those are my main donation spots.
