Quanta mechanics remains our best theory of matter at the scale in which we exist. But does it offer anything specific to help us explain consciousness? There do seem to be some effects in biology that take advantage of quantum properties. And there are stills, as you know, there are still complete disagreements about how to interpret quanta mechanics.
