analogies work for things that are quite abstract is because they are relatable. Most people can relate to a phone and phone parts ecause they already have an understanding of it. So i would ask them what's in a toy that they play with if they've broken something er, or try and figure out what their preconceived notions understanding of a system is. Find a system in their world and explain it themye. That's the constraints led approach to coaching, sort of oal tad, sort of over simplified to this con context.
