The Supreme Court's Decision on Affirmative Action
Jay Willis is the editor-in-chief of Balls and Strikes, a website covering the Supreme Court through a progressive lens. He started by asking him to recap the cases in this ruling and the arguments that were made before the court earlier this year. The case really is two consolidated cases about the affirmative action programs in use at Harvard and at the University of North Carolina. It's almost a little bit analogous to what the Republican justices have done with the Voting Rights Act, he said.
