Hegel's Philosophy and the Philosopher's Pettiness
Schopenhauer comes to University of Berlin in 1821 and Hegel's the chair of philosophy. Schopenhauer goes I want my classes scheduled exactly my lectures exactly at the same time as yours. He famously had two people come and then one person dropped out so he he that just confirmed his profound pessimism and made him hate Hegel for life.
