The Effects of Physical Abuse on Children
One third of children who witnessed the battering of their mother or sibling demonstrate significant behavioral and emotional problems. The effects of physical abuse on children usually comes out in things like stuttering, psychosomatic disorders which mental factors play a significant role. Children who witness physical abuse are also more likely to be victims,. often women or perpetrators, often men of physical abuse as adults.
