How to Read Silently
With reading, you need to have most of it in the fuvial area. You really can't make out a whole ton that's outside of it. Your eye only fixtes on function words about 35 % of the time and then your eye fixets on constent words about 85% of the time. The probability of a word actually being fixted upon increases with the word's length. So for skilled readers, ah, you skip different kinds of words different percentages of thetime. And people who read a little slower is that they have shorter fixations. Ah, they have quicker cicods, and the they have fewer regressions,. or ges, longer distance
