Four Point Three Billion
Last year, the national audit office criticised the government for its lax approach to the bounce back lon scheme. About five billion would end up being written off, either because of fraud or because they could not be repaid. This four point three billion that was the focus of recent reports talks more specifically about furlo schemes, self employed income support and et ou to help out. Are these the same? Is one part of the other? Or are they two completely different right offs? So e a couple of things. Tey, first, they are completely different. They don't overlap in any way. Whatever. It doesn't help. The journalists appear to conflate the two stories
