Is There a Difference Between Neural Architecture and Learning Subsystems?
In neuroscience, you would call these innate structures of the brain that we're born with and have been honed through evolution right. In some cases, the hypothalamus and brain stem will just do things directly through the motor system without involving the learning algorithms at all. Whereas, so you could think of it as sort of disposition to learn certain types of patterns rather than other types of patterns. But it's still has to learn the patterns. And that's a big difference from what I think is happening in the hypothalamus or brain stem.
