i think advice when it comes without context is really dangerous. I'm a huge fan of architectural decision records, theyre by my favourite architectural tool. i love adias, and i think adias are a much better articulation of how we should give advice. Go name bas erman. Fascinating career read. As wekipet a page, it blows your mind. But there's a quote in there that says, you know, careful whose advice you buy. Be patient with those who supply it. Advises a form of nastalgia,. dispensing it as a way of fishing the past from the disposal - wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it
