The Market Is a Bit Crook in the Shops at the Moment

Next week we'll see a few equity raisings as companies look to show up the balance sheet. There's going to be some companies with weak balance sheets and worried that they're going to miss their covenants. Retail sales data from the ABS out on Thursday should tell us the story, shouldn't it? Things are a bit crook out there in the shops. Yeah, best and less sales down 13% in the past five weeks. So I imagine retail slower sales have slowed down.
