The Slack and the Marathon

i think great song writing is a combination of the sprint and the marathon. And it's beautiful when a melody and a lyric happen at the same time. But i also want some of the elements to come individually. I might have done a tiny bit of cutting and pasting, but not much. Most of that is a real performance. If there's a struggle in finishing something or in making something, don't let that deter you from getting to a point where you think it's finished. It usually takes a few more months to actually finish it. That's ok. In order for you to get to a place where you're happy with a recording, you got to fail a little bit
