Will the Government Continue Printing Money for Stimuluses?

There's only two solutions to getting out of this funk. Either renewables have to very quickly, and probably more quickly than possible, take over where fossil fuels have left off. Or the oil industry has to be able to make a comeback. If we continue under performing on economic growth due to less energy consumption, that leads to potential problems like debt defaults or hyper inflation. So what should we be watching for as things move forward?
