In 1990, 55% of men said they had six or more close friends. In 2020 that dropped to 21%. It's less than half. The number of men who say that they have zero close friends has increased by fivefold from 1990 and it's now at 15%. Simon Sinek says there's a real difference between being alone and being lonely.
