The Art and Architecture of Babylon at the Time of the Cassites
The Cassite dynasty lasts for several centuries doesn't it? It makes second-manian. And they're terrific. I mean they take over the art, they make wonderful cylinder seals out of hard stones, very difficult to make. They're probably using these skills that were already in the country but they're adopting them and making the most of them. So this is I guess it wants to show us that great longevity of Babylon as a city in ancient history. But there's not all that much again that we can really point to in the way of art because so much has been destroyed by time.
