The Downgrades of Mortgage Rate Companies
Lincoln National ticker LNC, the life and health insurance company, was downgraded from 60 borderline safe to 40 unsafe. Brandywine ticker BDN has a 16% yield because they say that banking woes complicate Brandywine's property sales needed to support the payout. The mortgage rate company GPMC have a 15.87%. I think they have a lot of commercial mortgage rate. That's what they are. They are mounting office credit risk clouds. Another office rate, OPI office properties was downgrades from 40 unsafe to 20 very unsafe with a dividend yield of 18.61%. Look at that. 11% of their rent is in Chicago. Interesting. Realty
