Are You a Good Missionary?
As a missionary, being in leadership positions is kind of very sought after. And I definitely stood out because I was a black missionary. So again, there was that pressure to represent all black people and to represent the church. One of my last areas had baptized in many, many months, and I ended up baptizing nine people in that area. But then as soon as I left, pretty much within a couple of weeks after I left, they stopped going to church.
