If germany had dominated the country, would it have held out a friendly hand to britain? I don't think. The germans had been intriguing with indian nationalists who had been to berlin. N the kaiser is not just a comic opera figure. He's a meddlesome and dangerous figureWho spoke too much and said too many things. But that doesn't make him any dangerous. And i think our opponents are dreaming if they think we're dreaming.
