I would encourage them to go back to sort of values and long term goals again. And if it is this epiphany moment, holy crap, I'm on the wrong road, then that's a good thing to change road. If you're burnt out, I'm not necessarily sure that changing your job, you might need a month off more than you need a new job. That starts asking you to start tomorrow.
