The Future of Anti-Money Laundering

10 years from now the FATF will be well into its fifth round of evaluations which may have been shaped by the strategic review that is currently being finalized. How do we incentivize the step change that is surely needed? I think the question of incentives is a really good one for probably most countries in the world to avoid being listed and named and shamed by the FATF. More public-private partnerships they're not a one-size-fits-all solution but I think they're really important. The use of technology absolutely critical has the opportunity to make a step change in the way that firms, FRUs, supervisors operate.
