How to Raise a Fund as a VC
The only thing that I think is harder as a VC is fundraising. As a founder, you're generally looking for a market of one or maybe a market of like three to four people who give you the money. If you're raising a fund, it might come from 99 investors,. That's your limit on how many investors you can have. And so you need to go and convince dozens of people to come along for the ride with you. The other part of the job is you don't know if you're investing well, but that will take a longer time.
