Sawyer filed charges against the man after he threatened her during an investigation. He then went on Facebook live and read out her address to people telling them to send her cotton, she says. The judge was forced to allow the case to continue but not because of Sawyer's actions. She is still currently the commissioner for Shelby County in South Carolina.
