The Evil Witch Takes Her Voice Away From Her
In the new version, she gives up her voice for a man. What does this mean? So they make her voice literal. They say it's because her voice is an actual siren song. And so we have to take that away because otherwise he would just fall for her immediately. Which begs the question, does he actually love her or has she put him under some sort of horrible spell? Yeah,. which is more symbolic of sex, isn't it? Yeah.
