The hackt files purport reveal the real names of people associated with the proud boys cuanon and supporters of the january sixth capital riots. The amount of data is enormous, and researchers are still coming through it. There seem like there are a sort of two main effects here. One is that these extremists are being outed because their information became public. And the other is that people who study extremism are just delighted by the information.
