The Different Fundamentals of a Sine Wave
The MOOC is a distortion emulation of the Studer Saturator and Devil Lock guitar pedals. The tape type matters in the emulation, as does the speed; running 30 yips gives a pretty nice bass. Distorting subs makes them more audible on small speakers, very handy. If you distort hi-hats too much or not enough, there are extra benefits to be had.
