The Importance of Curation in Information Discovery
Curation is a terrible term, it has become vacant of meaning. A great curator to me is an information coin-star machine. It's someone who takes these pennies and transmutes them into useful knowledge. Vannevar Bush wrote in 1945 that there was a new profession of trailblazers. They are more important today than they were then.
