"Coup 53" is the first feature-length film by director Peter Travers. He interviewed Kermit Roosevelt, who was rumored to be a CIA agent on the scene of the 1952 coup in Iran. The former police chief said he did not see this as a model for intervention all over the world. "I had to make this film. I had to get it off my chest," says Travers.
