How to Preserve Your Synopsis

CNN's John Sutter looks at a crowd preservation attempt in Arizona. He says the patient had 17 hours of what we call normal thermic ischemia before anything even starts. But not much is known about how human connectomes degrade over time after death, he writes. The technique that preserves the connectome is almost certainly going to be better than a technique that doesn't preserve the connectome, according to Sutter.
