I think work from home enables that type of rich experience, but I'm beyond the mid career. If you're interviewing today and you want to get a job today coming out of school and you're even considering work from home, you're insane. Unless there's some reason why what you're doing does not require or it doesn't benefit you at all. There's going to be like a work from home and a work from the office track for many jobs.
