Anita Brick: I've wanted to have this conversation with Doug since I read an article from Northwestern about him. In 2011 he founded Conant Leadership, a mission-driven community of leaders and learners who are championing leadership that works in the 21st century. We're actually contemplating doing another edition of the book touchpoints because we believe it's even more relevant today than it was when we wrote it in 2011. Fundamentally, we're having more interactions every day on average and they are happening in smaller amounts of time. So we sort of have to be fluent in those small amount of time.
