The Consequences of Failing to File Taxes on Time
Here in Canada, if you fail to file your taxes on time, you get assessed a penalty. You just have to pay a penalty interest for the late filing and increasingly insistent letters from the government. If not only did he wait for filed, but also was embezzling and laundering money, then perhaps he would be in a lot more trouble. But in this case, I guess if he was lucky, he was able to talk away from having to the fine and pay interest - which is funny. He just got an extension. It's fine.
