The Last Offence You Feel You Have
i heard this unnaturally high pitched whimpering. I was sitting up in my bed completely still listening to it. It wasn't far off or just in the distance, but directly beside my window and out of sight. In no time, whatever it turned into old veranda pieces scraping together at the corner. And i didn't even think about the lights i saw a few days earlier. The night after, i spoke to my sister about it, but i said, the noise was the veranda all along.It was only to day after i thought about sharing my second experience that i even remembered the first.
