Is There a Merit in a Chief Revenue Officer?

The chief growth officer should not come as a v p of sales that got promoted to this role and understands nothing about marketing, customer research, product strategy. The same thing could happen fror marketing, right? So if you put some one that'sfo marketing, that hasn't done sales before, the exact same sort of ike issue could happen. I would think a lot differently about how we can actually ut business development to day. O in my, in my future model, there would be people that were experts that were focused on strategic, personalized outbound to a specific set of high value accounts.
