Nuclear Waste - I Don't Men the Whip Plant
There's room for more innovation to use nuclear waste in different ways. The existence of a functioning, deep geological repository that's going to store it for a million years gets that off the table. A case could be made if the community wants to take more waste but i don't see a great way forward. Several states have prohibitions on new nuclear power until the waste problem is solved.
