Transhumans Folktales - The White Rain Deer

The 1952 film The White Rain Deer tells the story of a lonely and frustrated young married woman who transforms into a white rain deer that lures male herders to their death. Other tales reflect a tender bond between herders and their animals and their love of a life outside the village and free of its constraints.
