Airlines are legally responsible for telling you about your rights. In the case of flight cancellation within 14 days, the airline must give you the choice between a refund or re rooting. On top of that, you will be due compensation as well for those fly cancellations within 14 days. So they do run an untime service to make sure that we don't constantly end up in these positions.
