The Importance of Experiments in Physics

I do a lot of what you might consider are sort of mathematically oriented things, like statistical analysis and the model building. And then doing measurements that I can compare directly with theoretical predictions of the phenomena. Yeah, experiment is not just about going and working in the lab and doing measurements, but it's also the analyzing the data as well. It's figuring out uncertainties and then doing the interpretation and working to understand what it all means.
