How to Grow Seed Potatoes

Decent soil will get you decent crop potatoes. You can dig in a bit of well-rotted compost or manure. But I don't overdo it. If you put fresh manure down they can get a bit iffy. As ever with veg, only grow what your family actually eat. Focus on main crops if you only eat jackie potatoes. Only grow earlys if salad potatoes, potato salad is your thing. And all of them need to be grown from seed potatoes that you buy not from those funny little sprouty things you've had underneath the sink that are left over from last year.
