What Is Your Vision for Hydrogen?
The UK currently uses, I believe, it's 770,000 tons of hydrogen every year. 99% plus overwhelmingly from fossil fuels. Hydrogen used in fertilizers, chemical feedstocks and refineries for doing things like hydrocracking so that we get the right mix of diesel and petrol out of a barrel of oil. If politicians want to do something right now, this minute, what I would say is make that grey hydrogen that's been used for fertilizer green. And do whatever you need to do, because there is no alternative to that.
