I ran an event called flossing code for free as an Libre open source software. We had 80 college students from HBCUs studying CS and CE, computer engineering and computer science. And they were contributing open source day one because someone was there to mentor them. I'm proud to say I'm a soft friend here. It's the same thing in your own community where you can't be the computer guy or you're like your pigeon at the computer guy.
