Shiny objects is a community-based social network. It was created by members of the makepad team, and has been around for five months. Members can buy 'shine tokens' which they can use to fund new projects or improve existing ones. The site will launch its first season on October 1st.
Tom Osman recently made headlines by flipping an Ether Rock NFT for 400 ETH ($1.3mil at the time of sale) after buying it for only 1.7 ETH ($5,340) 19 days before.
