The Story of a Yeast Area Rapist

On March 8th 1977, one month after attack 13, the yeast area rapist had spent time stalking an area of East Sacramento he hadn't yet hit. The areas of his previous attacks were likely too hot with police presence for him to risk going back. Five large blocks west of Carmichael was a neighborhood that suited his ammo. It was linked by a narrow walking path tucked behind a long row of houses to another neighborhood. He could easily park his car at the end of the path and approach the streets hidden by countless means. At 3am that Tuesday morning March 8th, a 37 year old elementary schoolteacher was asleep. Her young son was staying over at a friend's house.
