How to Be a Music Producer

I don't really even know what it means to be a music producer. The closest thing I can compare it to would be a movie director. We're responsible for the overall creative content. It could include hiring musicians or putting a band together. Some producers are experts at making beats, others work with super pop artists. Each one has their own way in and also depends on how they became a producer.
